Why do we recommend that you request samples?

The production of ceramic tiles is a firing process in which the tiles undergo physical changes and transformations throughout their manufacture. This means that each batch is unique, and there are slight differences in both color and texture from one batch to the next. We’re talking about subtleties—often imperceptible, but worth mentioning. By requesting samples, you can closely examine the texture, color, and finishes of the tiles in your own setting. This allows you to see how they interact with the lighting in your home, as well as how they complement your existing furniture and decor. In addition, you’ll be able to see the quality of the tiles for yourself, which will give you greater confidence when making your final decision. At Amatile, we strive to make the images as realistic as possible compared to the actual items. It’s impossible to tell which device you’re using to view this on. The color of the parts may vary slightly from one device to another due to screen calibration. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for slight variations in color compared to how they appear on each screen. All samples submitted are free of charge. You simply need to pay the shipping costs for regular mail.

Follow these steps to request your sample:

1. Send an email to hola@amatile.com with the tile you’d like to receive

2. You can request samples of various products in a single order, up to a maximum of five units.

3. Once your order is confirmed, we will provide you with an account number to complete the process.

Terms and Conditions

– Samples are sent so that their color, texture, and feel can be assessed. If the sample arrives with any damage that does not prevent these nuances from being appreciated, the cost will not be refunded, since the samples are free; only the preparation and shipping costs will be charged.

– Small samples should be sent whole. For large parts, samples will be sent in a maximum size of 20×20 cm. These samples are cut by hand, so the edges of the piece may not be neatly finished.

– If the samples have been cut from larger pieces, their edges may have irregularities and minor defects, since the samples are cut “by hand”; of course, this will not be the final finish of the complete piece, so please use the sample only to assess color, surface texture, etc.

– For special items such as beveled baseboards, mesh-backed mosaics, natural stone, or handcrafted clay tiles, the sample will not be free; a portion of its cost will be charged, as these items are expensive due to their manufacturing process.

– If you would like a sample with the original dimensions, please request it by email and we will assess its feasibility.

– You cannot request more than one sample per tile model.

– To ensure their integrity, we ship a maximum of ten samples per shipment in each box. If you need more than ten samples, you’ll have to place separate orders.

– Samples are shipped via a courier service to the specified address.

Delivery and Shipping Times

– Sample shipments to Spain have a delivery time of 14 business days.

– Delivery times are calculated from the moment the order leaves our office, which we will notify you of via email. Once you place your order and we have your items ready for delivery, we’ll provide you with a tracking number so you can track your order.

– You can check the estimated delivery date on the carrier’s website.

– Delivery is considered complete when the shipping or courier company unloads or delivers the customer’s order to the delivery address designated by the customer.
